自我介绍

I am a regular guy - Father, husband, golfer, gentleman farmer, traveler and passionate about cooking, running and trekking – Not necessarily in that order!! We have developed the ivyhouse Pune property painstakingly over the last 20 years and enjoyed the process. It has changed over the years and we continue to do interesting things each year. I love running, trekking and generally participating in adventures. I have completed the Oxfam 100 Kms walk event twice over the last 2 years. This year, finally, I found time to do the Everest Base Camp trek, participate in the Satara Hill Marathon and another minor trek in the Himalayas. I have also climbed Kilimanjaro - The tallest mountain in Africa twice. I love to don my chef’s apron to indulge in one of my long standing passions - cooking. Over the last few years, I have been spending more and more time in the kitchen re-creating recipes that I have learnt in cooking classes on my travels, recipe books and cooking sites and shows. I have spent years living and working in England and mainland Europe and have developed a keen sense of appreciation for world cuisine. My daughters and wife have always encouraged me to pursue this passion as that has enabled them to enjoy the fruits of my labor.
