An incident happened in our room the night prior to our check in that affected the lock on our door. While this was out of Vacasa’s control, we were not notified until a little after 4pm when we were pulling into Emerald Grande to check in. We choose Emerald Grande every year because of its location. Vacasa offered us a nights stay at a different condo 3 miles down the coast. While 3 miles isn’t the end of the world, the situation was frustrating because we 10 days worth of groceries in our car that we would have had to unload into the temporary condo to pack back up the following day and move to our intended condo, when we really just wanted to start our relaxing vacation. Emerald Grande had a room that was vacant for the night that we paid for out of pocket instead of staying in a total different resort. I spoke with multiple Vacasa representatives that refused reimbursement of the room cost fee ling that their offer was sufficient. I finally got to speak with the onsite Vacasa Manag

This place is very convenient where you don’t have to drive much. The shops, restaurant, boat ride to the beach and much more are a short walk down stairs. We did have an issue with not having hot water in the showers. That was frustrating but the host is supposed to be compensating us for that.

If you are comparing prices renting through Emerald Grande compared to a rental agency the listing is not correct. This unit is not a 3 bedroom under emerald grandes description. It is a 2 bedroom with a small bonus room. For the price I paid it was not bad. The only thing if you have issues do not call the front desk. You will have to go through the management company. There are some issues with this unit like mentioned in previous comments on the Vacasa Webpage. I didn’t see these until after I booked. I did not report these since I know they are aware of them. 💁 There is a hot water issue in the 2 bedroom bathroom. Hot water does not stay on in shower. Floors are not cleaned well. Everyone’s feet were black. There is a coffee pot but only 3 coffee mugs. Basic cooking items. Bring any special items you need. Patio furniture needs to be replaced. View is beautiful and if you get a good deal and bring flip flops then it’s not bad!
