Built in 1804, this Adobe Hacienda was Mabel Dodge and Tony Luhan's private residence from 1930 until 1939. 1.5 acres of manicured grass and giant, ancient trees abutting Taos Pueblo. We are a luxury Bed & Breakfast called the Hacienda Del Sol. Delicious breakfast, cool people, clean, updated ammenities, epic views and enchanting, historical structures. La Sala del Sol is part of the oldest section of our property, built in 1804. 5' thick adobe walls, exposed Vigas, old stained glass windows, ancient flooring. Mabel and Tony's bedroom was right next door, and this space with brilliant natural light was their art studio. La Sala includes: designated parking spot, brand new platform king bed (& twin bed), luxury sheets / towels / pillows / soaps / shampoos, private bathroom with tub / shower and our complimentary breakfast. Our property is about 1.5 acres, and adobe structure encompass over 10,000 sq ft. Common areas include the library / lounge juts down the hall form you, where great thinkers have done their thing for many years, dining area for breakfast, a big clean hot tub with a signup sheet for privacy, back lawn to daydream in the cottonwoods and second lawn to take in the majestic views.
