Always a lovely experience staying at the Lorien. Yvonne and Mike are amazing people and hosts, always going above and beyond to make the experience an amazing one. They always have time for a chat, and asking if I need anything. An additional appreciated feature is the mini fridge and treats. As always, I Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved staying with Yvonne and Mike while I was looking for a flat in the area, such a welcoming lovely couple truly felt at home while starting a new job. The room was so comfortable and clean would definitely recommend for long or short stays.

I stayed in the Blue Room at the Lorien and absolutely loved it. The room is super cosy, beautifully decorated and even came with a small fridge, a kettle and a TV. The room and facilities were immaculately kept and the house is in a nice quiet area with a lovely peaceful garden. Yvonne and mike are super welcoming, very friendly and made me feel right at home. Already booked a second and third stay! I would definitely recommend the Lorien for others coming to Abingdon.

It was a great place for me for a one-night and I’m sure if I had had more time it would have been even better! I enjoyed talking with Yvonne and the family and they were super helpful.

Highly recommend! Yvonne and Mike are great hosts, with a warm and welcoming hospitality. Despite my very late check-in due to transport problems, they waited to greet me and assist with amenities I needed. Their place is clean and comfortable, as displayed in the photos. Definitely will stay there again!
