We enjoyed our time. We loved being close enough to places we wanted to see. The best part was being able to walk right to the boat ramp and see the eclipse!

Mark is very responsive from the go but his house is a tad of a disappointment. Open the front door, walk in there’s a strong musty smell. walk downstairs you will see 3 dehumidifiers. If I would have known this I wouldn’t have booked. Full bath is a mix of storage, laundry and bathroom and is very cold. I have a service dog we like to take walks no sidewalks nearby. should have a map of activities you can do without a keycard. food is left out by neighbors so I hope you like raccoons One neighbor has their tv so loud it vibrates the wall with the couch on it. Extra intense sound & bumping base while watching a Disney movie is interesting to say the least. I lived upstairs only it’s 2 different climates so if your into a basement that’s cold , moisture, a broken outside door lock or go upstairs still musty but at least the doors lock. Final straw. Was both my dog & I got a rash and sick, vet & doc concluded it was our living environment. So we left a few days early.

We had trouble getting in for the first time as our names were not left on the guards list at the gate. Gained entry into the home fine to find neither of the sliding doors locked and the kitchen window was all so not locked. There was trash in the trees and on the ground from the common trash area. We did encounter a snow ice storm which left us literately trapped for 4 days. There was no shovel or salt to clear the walk nor was it cleared by the association. Not trying to be harsh but this is exactly how our stay went. The air filter for the furnace was caked with hair and dust. Place needs some TLC and some new bedding. Regards John

I had a wonderful stay. I felt right at home. Everything was extremely clean. Super well stocked! My dog and cat were grateful for Mark’s hospitality. I used the fitness center while there. It’s down the hill. You can walk there. It’s about $14 for a day pass. Research Hot Springs Village beforehand because it’s a large gated community with many businesses and amenities. The roads can be windy and a bit confusing.
