I want to be able to give more stars because the house itself is nice and the host is proactive in helping us arrive. Unfortunately we had a few things make our stay uncomfortable. 1)The shower flooded (it appears it needs maintenance) 2) on our second night a neighbor rudely approached us as we parked our car and accused us of calling the police on him because of his loud noise. We had not called the police because we were not even in the home at the time—we were in Guatape. The very loud music and construction noise lasted until about 9:30pm. It did stop before the posted 10pm time limit for loud noises so we were able to sleep but the experience was startling to say the least Note: low level of water makes access to dock hard on people with bad ankles and knees. The host has tried to make some additional ‘stairs’ but they are precarious.

El lugar es tal como fue descrito y cumplió con nuestras expectativas. Nelson estuvo siempre atento a nuestras necesidades y respondió prontamente. Pasamos unos lindos días y nos sentimos cómo en casa. Muchas gracias y seguramente volveremos.

The house was very nice. We enjoyed our time there. The home is very spacious and has everything needed to relax. It was a bit hard getting to the home at night as it rained. The home is about 10 minute drive to the Pierda of Peñol and 15 minutes to Guatape. We will be back!
