My third stay at Lowena and it’s always such a relaxing ‘home from home’. Really appreciate the small touches that Kate adds to the experience, such as the fresh flowers and goodies hamper.

We checked in, in the pouring rain and thankfully getting inside was a breeze. Once inside we were greeted with the warmth of the central heating and felt immediately right at home. Our stay was blighted by bad weather with only one dry day out of five which we made the most of by visiting Bodmin Moor and Tintagel. However, Lowena was the perfect place to be even when the weather was so bad. It was calm and warm with the views being quite serene. I wish I’d brought some binoculars as there was a lot to see. The much needed tv during the rain was an excellent size unlike other holiday lets that provide a tv the size of a postage stamp. A lovely welcome box of biscuits, crisps, fudge and a superb bottle of apple juice was a nice touch along with milk in the fridge. Coffee and tea were also provided so if anyone arrives unable to have done a shop will have more than enough to tide them over. All in all an excellent and very well thought out home from home and one we hope soon to return.

This is my second stay at Lowena and it was as perfect as the first! The property has everything you need for a ‘home away from home’ stay and Kate is a fantastic host! I mentioned we were staying for my Mum’s birthday and it was a lovely surprise to see that Kate had put up birthday banners in the lounge!!! The essentials basket and fresh flowers were also a lovely touch. Highly recommended!

Lovely bungalow just like home from home. Everything you need plus extra bits. Very clean and lovely decor. Great views.

The house was perfect! Great location for visiting family in the area and the awesome local beaches. The house was spotless and so well equipped we wanted for nothing. There was even a lovely basket of treats left out. Kate was a great host. So responsive and told us everything we needed to know. Would highly recommend and will likely stay again! Thanks Kate!
