The place looks just like the pictures. Host is very responsive and helpful. However, there was no paper towels, low supply of hand towels, no clean water, and there were lots of bugs, so please prepare for this. Also note that there are cameras at the property, which we noticed do follow you around depending on your location, which, to me, seems like an invasion of privacy especially considering that the camera is able to look directly into the kitchen. Otherwise the place was on the water, had great fishing, and was quite modern.

The place was great, peaceful, and cozy. recommended. the only issue is the water we provided because the water is not clean, not safe to drink its coming from the well. We used at least 5 cases of bottle water for cooking and drinking, not a big deal, would be nice to have free water.

Great spot, away from everything! Good stay for a bigger group of people. Responsive host, clean set up.

We recently completed a 2 night stay at The Camping Nest in West Lorne, Sept. 9-11, 2023 for 7 adults.There were a number of issues we encountered that took away from our experience. 1. There were not enough towels: For 7 adults, we were only provided 5 full size towels in total + 1 hand towel for one out of two bathrooms. 2. No drinking glasses, only 8 mugs, and 3 wine glasses provided, one of which was chipped. We had to purchase 7 glasses for our stay. 3. BBQ was not fully functional: Only 2 out of 3 burners on the BBQ worked and there were no cleaning tools provided for the grill 4. No garbage bags: We had to go out and buy our own garbage bags just to collect trash and take it out when we checked out. 5. Aside from not having enough chairs to seat 7 guests indoors, 3 of 6 chairs had broken legs and were in need of repair. Overall, I think the price is awfully high for what it offers, though it has sleeping capacity for 9 people, it is not equipped for that many guests.

Nice and clean place newly renovated with private pond were we enjoyed canoeing, kayaking and boat paddling. The kitchen has all the necessary small appliances. I suggest though to bring all you need related to cooking essentials (salt, pepper, sugar, oil) and extra towels.
