Franny’s space was warm and welcoming for our group of 4 adults and 4 children. The property has beautiful views and lots of space for kids to roam (supervised though, as there are steep cliffs). Arriving to a crackling fire was a nice start to our winter getaway. The beds were comfortable and linens were clean. One thing to be aware of is that the house smells of cigarette smoke and you will have to wash all of your belongings upon returning home. After rereading the listing I see smoking is permitted, so something to note before booking.

We were in town for a family event and the Palmyra cottage was the perfect backdrop for nature walks, lakeside chats and fire pit s’mores. Hearts and souls were filled up by the hospitality of the host(s), who were informative and incredibly helpful, and by the home itself, channeling a cozy Canadian cottage experience from the living room fireplace to the huge windows framing the beautiful surroundings. The cottage had all the essentials, so all you need to do is pack your flannels, favourite food/drink and perhaps, a great book. Should you need anything else, Ridgetown is a short drive away. Would definitely recommend as a great place to stay!

We had a beautiful stay at this charming, rustic cottage. It was very clean and spacious. The grounds were beautiful and our children + doggie loved exploring. Bobbie was very friendly and lite us a fire inside and out each night. Thank-you, looking forward to a return stay in the future.

A beautiful location away from everything, and a wonderfully designed home on the bluff overlooking Lake Erie. Very peaceful and relaxing for an easy weekend to spend on the lake.
