After a short trip to Europe, we returned to Robert and Lauren's home for 3 more nights. So lucky that it was available for us! Please read the review above for more comments on our initial stay. Returning to this lovely flat felt like 'coming home'...we only wish we could've stayed longer. A note about the neighbourhood: Islington is a vibrant hub, with easy connection by foot or private/public transport to many other interesting areas. The cheese shops, bars, bakeries and restaurants in this and the surrounding neighbourhoods are amazing: varied cuisines, modern and of-the-moment independant culinary adventures ( Pistachio and Pickle Dairy, Redemption Roasters, The Bar with No Name, Morchella and Perilla to name a few of our favourites )...so much to be discovered! A 30 minute tube ride with take you to the famous tourist sights, the museums, shops, private art galleries etc etc. We had a wonderful time and will certainly be back next year! A 'home away from home' indeed :)

Elegant, comfortable, bright and newly renovated main floor flat on a very quiet street in the charming neighbourhood of Islington, London. We found the apartment exactly as described on the well-presented listing, but with many lovely 'extra' benefits: a pretty south-facing garden for guest's use, fully outfitted cooking kitchen with good knives and plenty of new, matching cookware, dishes and glassware, Nespresso machine with complementary pods, wonderfully comfortable king-size bed: all spotlessly clean and welcoming. Communication with the hosts was easy and professional. Thank you, Robert and Lauren, for a truly lovely stay...we look forward to our next visit!

Robert and Lauren’s place was just wonderful! When we had a difficult beginning to our London stay but Lauren and Robert were there for us. They were attentive to our every need and made sure our stay was everything we thought it would be. The check-in was quick. The flat beautiful and so close to the Angel station that by the end of three days we absolutely felt like Londoners. The kitchen was fully stocked and the washer and dryer was clutch! Our sons loved the loft and felt like they had their own personal space. We didn’t have a chance to hang in the garden but I know in the warmer weather months that adds extra space to an already amazing flat. I also love they were great offering us recommendations for their favorite spots. Islington is a great community and they show it. We will definitely be back!

Only 5 mins walk from Angle Station this townhouse was stunning! On quiet street, the private setting was the respite we needed after long days exploring the city. Well appointed decor, new appliances and quality bedding and linens. The Master bed is a king size and our teen son loved his double bed and LED lighting up the spiral staircase. Tons of natural light, a quaint private garden and thoughtful hosts who met us early so we could begin exploring straight away. Thoughtful details including fresh flowers and a Nespresso machine and pods. The living room sofa was huge and allows our family to kick up tired feet and watch shows together. Duncan Terrace park is just out the door and great restaurants, pubs and shopping all around. Central London is a short tube trip or taxi ride away. Went to two Arsenal games and close enough to walk and avoid crowds on the tube. We would absolutely stay here again on a future visit!
