Welcome to “The Cabin”. Perched in the foothills of Emerald Creek Falls and completely off grid you’ll feel a world away! The cabin is nestled alongside its own little passionfruit vineyard on an extended 75 acre bush property with stunning views across the Barron valley. If you ever feel like just escaping to a cabin in the middle of nowhere this is your place! Inspired by shipping container tiny homes, the cabin features industrial design and furnishings. The cabin has all the comforts yet completely off grid running on solar and gas. This cabin has it all, it’s cosy, though when you open the massive double container doors it turns into indoor/outdoor living at its best, and the shower room is an experience in itself. The property is on the way to the stunning Emerald Creek Falls which is accessed by 5km of council maintained gravel road to arrive at the property surrounded by pristine bushland, and with views all the way across to the windmills on Mt Emerald. There is a lot to explore and admire! The vineyard which often have kookaburras swooping the insects (that’s if the chickens and Guinea Fowls leave any for them 😊) and pretty faced wallabies enjoying the green grass or just lazing around. If your quiet you may see the possums in the nearby eucalyptus at night, frill neck lizards along the gravel roads and a myriad of native bird life. If you’re up for a hike there is a lookout, seasonal creeks and hidden grass tree forest amongst the hills just follow the dirt track but be sure to take plenty of drinking water as the track is a few kilometres around the property, and feel free to let us know how many black orchards you can find 😃. On the hot days your only further 2km from the stunning Emerald Creek Falls and day area with many great swimming spots. Best of all the cabin is secluded allowing you to just relax and soak up the bush atmosphere.
