We loved our accommodation in the historic center of Cienfuegos. Palo Gordo is right on the pedestrian-only street. Our room “La Perla” was tastefully decorated with art and a beautifully tiled floor, modern bathroom, high ceiling, AC, black-out curtains and French doors opening up to a small balcony perfect for watching Cuban life passing by. Everything is within walking distance. Internet and a delicious breakfast were included. The host was super helpful at check-in and check-out and arranged a tour for us to the Flamingo reserve and El Nicho waterfalls with onwards transportation to Trinidad. We highly recommend staying at this beautifully restored colonial home.

Le logement est magnifique, en plein coeur de la ville de Cienfuegos ! André parlait parfaitement le français et nous a accueilli de manière très chaleureuse. Il a su nous aider pour la réservation d'un taxi privé pour la lagune de Guanaroca, El Nicho et Trinidad. Le petit déjeuner compris dans le prix était le meilleur de notre séjour ! Les autres employés se sont également montré très serviables, gentils et réactifs.

Our stay with Yised could not have been more perfect. The casa is beautifully decorated and the terrace is like a tiny rainforest which was such a tranquil paradise in Cienfuegos. The bed was extremely comfortable (and huge!) too and earplugs were provided because Cienfuegos comes alive with music at night and the casa is right in the heart of the city. It was lovely to be able to enjoy a drink on the balcony in the evening where we could watch the sunset. When you stay you MUST have dinner at the casa - the spaghetti was the best we have ever had! One night they even incorporated a fresh lobster for us! Our hosts could not have been kinder and helped us to arrange a trip in a vintage car to El Nicho waterfalls. If we come back to Cienfuegos we would be so excited to stay here again.

1000% Empfehlung ! Es war wunderschön, wie auf den Fotos ! So habe ich mir einen Aufenthalt in einer kubanischen Stadt erträumt: wunderschöner Altbau mit hohen Decken, Innenhof mit tropischen Pflanzen, liebe zum Detail und tolle deko. Wahnsinnig leckeres Frühstück und Abendessen. Es war alles vom Anfang bis Ende einfach perfekt. Unbedingt buchen, wir haben uns mehr als Wohlgefühlt. Das ganze Team und natürlich die Gastgeber sind extrem freundlich und bemüht, sie haben uns sehr weitergeholfen mit unserer Weiterreise und hatten eine tolle Empfehlung für Ausflüge auf dem Weg. Es gab auch wlan ! Wie gesagt absolute Empfehlung, besser geht nicht

Le lieu est sublime et décoré avec beaucoup de goût ! Nous avons été très bien accueillis par un jeune homme qui parle très bien français, et qui est de très bon conseils :) Yised et son mari sont très sympathiques. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Cienfuegos.
