A 1 minute walk to forest walks and Pickering castle, or a 2 minute walk to the town centre; you couldn’t be more perfectly located. Pickering has the charm of a rural North Yorkshire town with all the amenities you need for a relaxing break of a family centred vacation. The property has been sympathetically renovated retaining its old charm, whilst having many modern facilities. The kitchen is well equipped with oven, induction hob, microwave and dishwasher. Adjoining the kitchen, separated by a breakfast bar, is a living room area with sofa, armchair and log burner. There is also a smart tv which has many channels as well Netflix. The window looks directly on to the steam railway. Upstairs you have two bedrooms, one with a Kingsize bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and smart tv and the other with a triple bunk. The bathroom has a bath with shower above it. The house is 3 storeys high (so be aware there are plenty of steps) so on the basement level you also have a snug living room, utility room with downstairs loo and shower and a third bedroom, which has a single bed which pulls out in to a double. This floor leads on to the outside decked area, via some steps, which is west facing and receives all the afternoon and evening sun. The property has a paid parking space at platform 3 car park or usually there is plenty of on street parking on castle gate. It is possible to drive outside the property to unload if desired. The property comfortably accommodates 5, but can sleep 7, although this will make the living areas seem smaller. However we feel for 7 guests we price the accommodation fairly to reflect this, whilst still offering a place where you can all holiday together in Pickering.
