The location was great! The host was very responsive and flexible with the check in. They had a well stocked kitchen and super clean house. Would book with them again.
Home was nice, clean had amenities like coffee, pots pans, dishes etc. location felt safe but to walk to the metro you have to go through an area that I wouldn’t recommend walking after dark. Longer metro ride to tourist areas but easy to navigate.
The townhouse near Thomas Elementary school, close to the intersection of Anacostia Ave NE and Grant Pl NE was either new or totally remodeled and it was SUPER nice and quiet. The space was well used with a garage that snuggly fit my rental minivan. That way I didn't have to park away in the street. The drive to Smithsonians, white house, Washington monument etc is convenient with the option of taking the highway or side roads to dodge the traffic. with a bedroom and bath on the 1st floor is convenient for those that don't want to go up the stairs. The living dining area with a half bath on the 2nd floor and two more bedrooms with bathrooms are in the 3rd floor. Everything looks new and clean. Loved it. They had everything you need to stay there - ziplock bags, extra trash bags, sufficient paper towels, toilet paper etc. I hate when owners skimp!! They even had snacks and a bottle of wine which we didn't open. coffee machine with coffee, kettle, washing machine, .. Loved
Great place to stay if you're visiting DC! Good access to metro, safe surroundings, good price, great host communications and accommodations. Will keep this on the list of stays to come back to!
