We booked a one night stay at Paul’s cabin in Castle Rock, it was breathtaking! The view of the river while you’re in the hottub is unmatched ! Theres a little walk down to the riverside & it’s so cute down there. Fire pits & a hammock! We saw so much wildlife, deer 🦌 otters 🦦 and bats at night flying above the water ! 🦇 overall a great place to take a break from work life and enjoy some nature.

This basic rustic cabin was ideal for 2 people. It was perfect for our purpose which was to serve as a base to enable us to explore Mt. St. Helen's. We had gorgeous weather. - sun and cloudless days in the 50s and 60s. We were able to view the North Fork of the Toutle River from the deck which was a beautiful way to start and finish our days. Stargazing from the hot tub at night was a lovely way to cap off a day of appreciating the wonders of nature. Paul was a responsive and helpful host. If we were to return to the area we would stay here again.

My partner and I often find cabins on AirBnB for a staycation. In the past 4 years of our doing this, Paul's cabin was one of the, if not the, best cabin we stayed in. It is a short drive from Seattle (less than 2 hours), and the location is magical with a view of a river from the deck. The cabin itself was out of a Children's storybook: cozy, warm, comfortable, and extremely clean, with all the amenities we could think of. The riverside is accessible through the stairs, so we were also able to take a dip in the river. We made extensive use of the hot tub as well as the charcoal grill. The charcoal grill was a bit of a pain to use since we have no prior experience with it. Overall: 9.5/10. We will definitely return in the future.

The Cabin was a perfect little cozy getaway, definitely a "wow" moment when we fist walked on the deck and saw the view of the river. It was great waking up in the morning having coffee on the deck. Hot tub was amazing, this is just a great stay.
