Fantastic, quiet location right next to the National Park - could not have been better as the caves and surroundings are wonderful. The house was a great size for just two of us, but it felt a little worn out/dated in places: the living room chairs were not particularly comfortable, and the sofa had seen better days. The upstairs bed dipped in the middle making it uncomfortable to sleep in. The pillows were also old and stained. The coffee maker was not clean, and make sure to bring yours own coffee and milk/creamer as none is provided - unlike every other Airbnb we have been in. Same for shampoo and shower gel. The wi-fi was sketchy - we had to stop watching Netflix due to the constant buffering. With just a little care and attention this place could be brilliant.

Location! Shane’s place is all about access to Mammoth Cave NP, the surrounding towns, and multiple amenities in/around the park. We loved being able to walk to Sand Cave and check out the NP at night. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great for stargazing but it was perfect for day hiking! We will definitely be staying here again when we visit!

Perfect location for exploring Mammoth Caves National Park! Easy drive to Bowling Green for other attractions. The cottage had so much information and brochures for the area. Very clean and beautiful surroundings. Would recommend and even stay again for another trip to see more!

It’s a cute cottage but could use a few updates. Better pillows, soap for bathroom. A few upgrades would be perfect. It’s a great location to mammoth cave and other activities. Good communication with owner.
