There are fabulous canal & a country park walks 5 minutes away, the local park is 5 mins walk away & Rothwell Park (complete with café, bowling green, tennis courts, play area, aviary & the River Dolphin) is 1.2 miles away. There is a very friendly village atmosphere in the area. Train station 0.4 miles away & bus stop is around the corner from my house. Tesco local and petrol station 0.6 miles away, well stocked corner shop 0.2 miles away, Lidl supermarket 0.5 miles away. Rothwell Sports Centre, Oulton Golf Club and decent with further pubs, bars, cafes, restaurants, shops and a large Morrisons (1.3 miles away) are all within walking distance.

There are trains into Leeds, usually, 2 per hour & a 9-minute journey. Fairly frequent buses to Leeds, Wakefield, Castleford, White Rose Centre & to the north side of Leeds from very close by. Cycle paths by the canal into Leeds (30 min ride), into Methley (20 min) & Castleford (35 min) in the other direction by the canal. There are great road links close by, M1, M62, M621 and Leeds outer ring road.
Parking at my house is mostly on-street. Access to my drive is sometimes available.
