This house is really special. We modified our plans to spend more time outside in the pool it was so peaceful. Very large house. Great AC in all bedrooms which made a world of difference. You will need to rent a car to stay here fyi since it is removed from restaurants and attractions but definitely worth it. We loved it, one of our favorites and that’s saying something.

Overall a great stay! Pool and living area was nice. A little tricky to find, and a few minor maintenance issues, but overall nice.

Elio’s place was perfect for our stay in La Fortuna area. When we got there we were greeted by Elio’s wife, who came bearing gifts (Costa Rican snacks & coffee she thought we would like) 😊. The place was super spacious & very clean. They gave us great local recommendations for restaurants, places to shop for groceries and even helped us schedule our excursions, they took care of it all. The BBQ grill & pool were a great addition, as we spent a couple late nights out there just hanging out. Highly recommended this place!

The place is beautiful, especially the outdoor area. There were several seating areas outdoors and it was nice having a pool. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It's a short drive to restaurants and activities. The only negative is the road where the home is located is gravel with very deep potholes. Fortunately it's a short drive on that road to get to the house. There are a few minor maintenance items needed but I informed the host so hopefully those will be taken care of right away.
