Love our stay at this place. Super cute, David was extremely helpful and we loved the location. Check in and out was a breeze and parking was also easy. Great experience!

David's place was great! Better than expected I'd say as well! My wife and I were travelling with my parents and I have to say, the fact that the basement was essentially a separate apartment was great sk that we all had our own privacy when needed. Sound does travel between floors though as bedrooms are essentially on top of each other ;) The house has a cute backyard, deck and fire pit. projector for the TV or whatever upstairs was not hooked up but no biggie. TV downstairs was used sparingly before bed. Though it might have been fun being downtown for our first stay in Calgary, the area is incredibly walkable, with a ton of restaurants, bars, grocery store, shops, liquor store within minutes. Kensington is a really cool neighbourhood. Public transit is also only minutes away and though we didn't take it this time, it appears that it's one easy train downtown in minutes. We were strapped for time so we ubered to the Beltline in 12 mins for $10.

Upon arrival, we were delighted by the thoughtful gesture of a charcuterie cheese board left by David in the kitchen, along with a warm welcome message. The house's proximity to shops was convenient. The space itself was comfortable, ideal for relaxation, and we enjoyed playing board games at the pristine dining table. Unfortunately, the first night brought an unexpected incident as unknown individuals egged the front window, back patio door and detached garage in the backyard. While not the host's fault, we suggest the host consider adding a backyard gate to deter trespassers. Despite this, we recommend this residence for future stays.

This was a great place to stay. Convenient to downtown. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Lots of plants. Gorgeous wood on the dining table. Responded to emails quickly. Nice looking backyard - too snowy for us to use but would be a nice place to sit out in warmer months. Very considerate owners! David kindly let us use the whole house for the same price as the smaller suite we originally booked due to his sensitivity to my husband's mobility challenges with the stairs to the smaller suite. It was so appreciated and unexpected.
