A cosy cabin retreat in the Huon. Come stay with us on our little hobby farm, where you can relax and take in the peaceful views of the surroundings. We hope you enjoy your stay here at Stoney Creek We live next door to the cabin, but it has a separate entrance. It is a private space, but we are a stones throw away. We are on hand to help as much as you would like. Kitchen: A 4 gas burner hob and microwave are your main ways to whip up a delicious breakfast/lunch/dinner. We have most of the cooking utensils there, but always ask if you require anything additional as we can potentially lend you equipment. Bedrooms: The bedrooms are cosy, both rooms have very comfortable queen size beds, and bedding is supplied from the wonderful folks at Bed Threads, made me sleepy typing this. Bathroom: The bathroom has a shower with a view, toilet, and a sink. We are on a septic system so only toilet roll is allowed down the toilet and in small amounts if you can. Please place other items in the bins provided. Lounge: Wood-burning fire, sofa and armchair are there for you to unwind and relax. Take in the views from the windows, play some board games or read some of the books lying around. Decking & Garden: feel free to chill outside, also feel free to access the paddock to say g’day to the goats and chooks! Please make sure you shut all gates behind you. Paddock: feel free to wander down into the paddock, say hi to the animals, and see if you can spot the local Platypus in the creek. We have a campfire which you can use if there are no active fire bans.

Stoney creek farm is a beautiful place to disconnect. The pictures don’t do the farm or the cabin the justice it deserves. The cabin is cute and cozy and the wood fire place keeps you toasty. The farm is quiet and serene. My partner and I had fun watching and feeding the goats and sheep. Price and Ali are super lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. We also seen Price and Ali at the cygnet market and Ali gave us coffee and pastry recommendations. Overall, amazing experience.
Prince and Ali were perfect hosts with a quick hello on arrival and some well received local recommendations. The cabin was super comfortable for two adults and two kids. With a beautiful outlook, comfortable beds and absolute silence at night we were right at home. The kids loved interacting with the goats and chickens right on our doorstep. We visited Prince at Mewstone Wines for a beautiful afternoon of wine tasting, topping off a wonderful few days in the Huon Valley.
what a stunning property! we felt so lucky to stay at such a lovely place! the land and the house were both perfect. prince was so lovely to chat with, we really enjoyed every aspect of our stay at stoney Creek, as did our 2 young kids
My partner and I absolutely loved staying at Prince and Ali’s. It is truly a special place, surrounded by a peaceful landscape. We saw so many animals and my personal highlight were the goats! It was so kind of Prince and Ali to leave us some feed for them. They are so friendly and cute! We are from Sydney but would love to make time to visit here again in the future. The cabin has everything you need. Ali was also so thoughtful to give us recommendations for walks in the area as there is so much to do! We also got takeaway one night from Ashcraig farm, highly recommend the food. Thank you again Prince & Ali! It was just the long weekend we were after.
Prince and Ali were wonderful hosts, we felt very welcomed and their communication was great. The house, goats, chickens, view - everything was incredible! Loved loved loved our stay!
