The Elm Cottages are a perfect, tranquil spot to stop between Melbourne and Sydney. The Blue gum cottage is extremely peaceful, looks over the river with a concreted walking track that takes you down to it. Cozy cottage, comfortable beds and well sized rooms, with a fully equipped kitchen. It was perfect for our party of 2 couples, and our two dogs that stayed there for the weekend. The best part of the cottages, are the hosts and the Tesla destination chargers at the property. Deb and David are extremely friendly and helped us out in a tight spot with our dogs. The destination chargers had the car fully charged overnight, ready for the rest of our trip. Thank you for the lovely stay Deb and David, we will definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the elm cottages. It was very peaceful and in such a great location. The accomadation was tidy and very comfortable the grounds for the property were very tidy and well kept. Everything about the place was faultless and the host was very friendly and accomadating. The accomadation had every thing one would need, i was very impressed to even find a sandwich toaster in the cupboard. All out 10/10 for everything.

My family usually stays in town when we visit Tumut, but this time we chose to stay somewhere dog friendly. I have to say, we will never stay anywhere else after our amazing holiday at Elm Cottages. I arrived later than I had planned to and Deborah had already phoned to check that everything was ok. She also turned on the lights and unlocked the cottage so I was welcomed when I arrived by a beautiful space after a long drive. The view was amazing, the Little River is a perfect place for adults to sit and relax, and very safe for children to swim and play. The lawns were beautifully mowed so laying on the grass in the nice sunshine was something we took full advantage of. Safe to say we did not want to leave, and certainly did not miss being in town.
