Relax and unwind on the river! Whether alone, a couple, group or family everyone will enjoy this beautiful home. Relax by the river, fire pit or fireplace and enjoy! This home offers 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, kitchen, living room and some nooks and crannies to relax. With Wi-fi, Dish tv, charcoal and gas grill (bring your own charcoal or propane), games, books and indoor/outdoor stereo system. 2 public ramps within 5 miles to launch your watercraft or just fish off of the dock. Non-smoking. We have done our best to offer you and your guests a comfortable stay. Each room has plenty of storage. There are dressers and closets for your belongings. The kitchen should have all your cooking needs.

Home was clean and well kept. Exactly as described. Patio and yard is great. we didn’t get to enjoy all of the amenities because it was a bit chilly outside.

Beautiful home and exactly as noted in the listing remarks. Our group ranged from 80 yr old grandpa to 3 yr old great-grandson. The layout worked great for our group. The toys in the house were a nice touch for the 2 younger boys. There were all of the amenities that you need to set up house; towels, soaps, laundry detergent; kitchen had the supplies needed to prep food and a few snacks that were appreciated, especially considering our late arrival. Checkin option is nice and easy to remember.

Pleasant area with a beautiful river view. Especially pretty from the second floor balcony. Wake up to the geese, birds and ducks.
We are nestled off a quiet road with plenty of beautiful animals around. We have a private drive. There are several dining choices, bars, churches, shopping, bait shops and a grocery store within 10 miles. A delivery choice is Pizza Stone.
If you are interested in renting canoes or kayaks we suggest you book these in advance through Reed's Rent All in Kankakee, IL.
Enjoy the view from the yard with plenty of outdoor activities right there! We have cornhole/bag game, yard yahtzee, outdoor connect four, ladder ball and outdoor jenga. Let the little one's run through the sprinkler!

We are located 5 miles from this house. We have been together over 40 years, we have 3 grown children and 5 grandkids. Robert is a reliability engineer at US Steel. Cathy is a retired EMT and medical practice manager. We have been renting houses for over 25 years. We both love the outdoors and the river. We appreciate all feedback, suggestions and comments to help us improve and hopefully get the opportunity to have you come back!
