This was such a wonderful place for a family getaway. It is peaceful on the river. You can wake up and see the water from the kitchen. The home is clean and very well equipped. They also have so many games & kayaks to enjoy the stay. Great place!

Beautiful place and you can see the water right from the bedroom window. I loved waking up to the water. The place looks even better in person! Gorgeous!

We spent February at this home with our two young children and dog while my husband was doing a medical rotation in Kankakee. The space was great for us — walking distance to a park and Momence’s little downtown, right on the river which was quite picturesque in the winter, and just a 15 min drive to creature comforts like Target, Starbucks, etc. The owners are local and very responsive, although we really had no issues while staying there. They own other rental homes in the area and you can tell they run a good business of it as we had everything we needed and the place was in good shape.
