I enjoyed my second week at Rob’s place even more then the first. It was perfect for what I needed and I can’t wait to be back again. Rob is a great guy to deal with. I’m hoping to be back in the summer but it was great even with the bad weather.

Rob’s place was exactly what I needed for my stay. It had everything we needed and surpassed all expectations. I arrived to find the place warm and clean. It was identical to the photos but even cozier. Rob gave easy instructions to get there and check in. Any questions I had, he replied right away. Even with the poor weather, we really enjoyed our stay there. 10/10, I am already booked to come back!

We had a ladies weekend at Rob's place and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cottage is older but is exactly as shown in the photos. Everything was super clean and well stocked. We had everything we needed for 3 nights! We are looking forward to returning again soon. Rob was very helpful, responsive and a pleasure to deal with.

Overall a good stay. Rob was very responsive and answered every message quickly. The home was hard to find because the full address (house number) is not on Airbnb. We had to match outside from the photo to guess we were at the right place. The place is a little outdated, but it matched the photos. The beds are a little uncomfortable. Lots of towels and blankets, a full kitchen, a little lacking on paper towels and toilet paper but no big deal. The biggest concern was that the thermostat was locked, and initially he only wanted to adjust it remotely. I found this extremely paternalistic and unbecoming of a whole home rental. Different people have different needs and preferences, and a guest shouldn’t have to justify their temperature desires and hope their host is supportive. I had to explicitly ask him to unlock it so I could adjust the temperature to our liking throughout the stay. But he did unlock it after I pushed the issue, so hopefully this won’t be an issue for future guests.
