This was our second year staying 5 weeks at Playa Caracol. My review is based primarily on our experience in C3 PBA that we booked for 4 weeks C12-1C that we stayed it last year was not available and C3 PBA was only available for 4 weeks and we moved to C9-PBA for our last week. C3-PBA did not measure up to either of these other units. It had minimal kitchen supplies, we had over a week without hot water before that was resolved and it was simply not up to the standard of the unit we stayed in before or the unit we moved to this year for our last week. These concerns have been discussed with Gareth and he is going to address them. Our last week in C9-PBA was wonderful. I understand that each unit is different, supplied with different things but based on my experience last year and my one week in C9-PBA I would suggest that some overall standards are necessary to ensure an optimal guest experience.
