The place was clean and was as described. I thought I booked a top floor apartment but it was a top floor with 3 looked doors (2 doors led to bedroom and the last lock door led to kitchenette) and one door to access bathroom. There is only street parking which fills up quickly but other than that the stay was okay for what I needed. each room had tvs and the kitchenette had a washer and dryer.

We enjoyed our stay at this sweet little place in Mount Vernon. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly and were easily reachable via Email when we needed anything. The flat is fine. It's located 30 train minutes away from Manhattan. The trains run every hour or so. Unfortunately there was no way of making evening meal or lunch because there is no oven. There are several microwaves however. There is also no door separating the top flat from the middle one which makes it quite open. This is something we got used to though. All in all, we still felt safe and enjoyed our stay.
