Excellent, really nicely furnished with comfortable beds, other than a warning about the steep stairs for elderly ladies required it was perfect.

Our stay at The Great Barn was fantastic and exactly as advertised. The spacious layout and ample amenities provided everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and provided clear, informative check-in instructions, making the process smooth and hassle-free. The location was easy to find, nestled in a peaceful area that was perfect for a relaxing getaway. We particularly appreciated the numerous scenic walks nearby, which were perfect for our dog. Additionally, the proximity to Wem and Shrewsbury offered convenient options for dining and exploring. The tranquillity of the surroundings made it an ideal retreat, and we would highly recommend The Great Barn to anyone looking for a serene and well-equipped place to stay.

We stayed for two nights. Overall, a lovely peaceful space with parking. The Barn was quite cold on arrival - annoyingly you can't control this yourself, but I think if we'd let Abby know our arrival time it would have been warm, as when the heating does come on its warm, there is a heater provided which we needed. We were staying for a wedding, so getting ready there is a dresser with mirror, although there are two coat hangers provided to hang on the back of the door, some additional hanging space would be beneficial. If you have thick hair the shower water pressure isn't the best. The internet connection was unstable, as mentioned in the listing, so Netflix did not work, but Apple TV / BBC do. I think its quite expensive for no cooking facilities compared to B&Bs in the area, would be perfect for a one night stop over.

Abby was very proactive and helpful. The accommodation was exactly as described. It felt very homely whilst been free of clutter. The gardens leading up to the property were stunning. Wem centre is an easy walk and the Tilley Raven pub did amazing food. Abby recommended this to us.
