Addo River-View Lodge is a water-sport/nature lovers paradise, nestled on the banks of the Sundays River, in the village of Colchester. It is situated a mere 3km from the Matyolweni/South entrance to Addo Elephant National Park. This lovely house has 4 bedrooms which can accommodate 8 people. The top floor features 2 bedrooms - 1 bedroom offers a kingsize bed and the other 2 x single beds which can be converted into a double on request prior to arrival. 2 bathrooms (one of which is an en-suite bathroom), a fully equipped kitchen and an open plan lounge area that leads out onto a sundeck which over looks the beautiful Sundays River. The ground floor offers 2 bedrooms (King size bed and a double bunk) and a separate bathroom.

Approx 50 mins from main gate of Addo within walking distance of convenience star. Interesting house build, great for big group of friends who enjoy a barbeque, outdoors. It’s within walking distance of the Sunday river. Lots of “adventure type service providers” including sandboarding etc. Very clean spot.

The manager lives very close and is there to welcome you. The house is very clean and has all essentials. Beds are very comfy. The house is close to South Gate of Addo. There is a local grocery store within walking distance. I recommend it highly.

Its a nice place with a great view over the river. The neighbourhood is not realy great, but the dunes, Addo Elephant park and the sea are def worth of visiting!
