Our group of 10 (adults and children 1-10years) had a truly wonderful stay at Ti Hon House. The hosts were exceptional and made us feel right at home, greeting us with refreshing drinks and fruit upon our arrival and providing great recommendations for delicious local restaurants. They had lovely spa treatments available in house - perfect for resting weary bodies after a long journey on the night train from Ho Chi Minh City. The house was located on a beautiful quiet street, just a short walk from the old town, and had an incredible pool for cooling down after exploring. Would definitely recommend this as a great base for anyone wishing to visit Hoi An.

Our initial booking fell through at the last minute so I was scrambling to find an accommodation for 11 people (6 adults and 5 children) with only hours before we arrived. Tihon house was willing to accept us with only a few hours notice and it ended up better than we could have ever expected. The house is beautiful, there are 6 separate rooms, each with their own ensuite. The photos simply do not do the house justice. We ended up renting out the whole house so had the pool to ourselves which the children loved. Even better than the home were the hosts. They simply made the trip. Hien, the owner and her husband James went above and beyond everyday to make our stay fantastic. They provided breakfast, sometimes in the home and sometimes they took us to out of the way food places that we never would have found on our own. It felt as though we were being hosted by friends. James, a tour guide, took us on outings several times. We will return to Hoi An but will only stay at Tihon house.

There is no better place to stay in Hoi an. Everything was above 5 stars: hosts knowledge/help, accommodations, amenities, location, you name it - it was the best. We are a family of 6, globetrotted for 10 years, stayed in over 60 air bnbs all over the world, this was in the top 5. Hosts are the best we've ever had, husband/wife team who have a combined working thesaurus of everything in Hoi an. We love doing as much as possible and they knew everything or could quickly help us find out. They made us breakfast, helped grocery shop, recommended restaurants (we are vegan so this is always a hurdle, these two had no issue incorporating it), find yoga studios, book in-home pedicures, and explained everything about Hoi an city and culture. (I conduct interviews for a living so it can be a long conversation) Location hugs old town but isn't in the noise and crowdedness of it that can prevent relaxation. House is brand new, indoor pool was a blast for the kids. We will return for certain.

We tremendously enjoyed our stay at Ti Hon house, it is a fantastic place to stay if you are visiting Hoi an. Here are the things that set it apart from other places we have stayed: 1) the standard of the rooms are excellent. They are all newly furnished and very tastefully done. 2) James and Dieu are excellent hosts and really look after you. It really feels like you are being adopted by a Vietnamese family. 3) for breakfast you have the option to eat in or they take you out for street food. James or Dieu guide you to some local eatery that you would never normally go to and the food is delicious. Dieu also cooks a mean beef noodle soup, omelette or other local dish if you would prefer to eat in. 4) James is a local tour guide and so is happy to arrange trips, excursions and book restaurants. 5) location is ideal in the sense that it is a short walk to the old town but also a little bit out, so cycling to the beach is easily possible. Highly recommend staying here!
