We loved staying at Joanna's place! She was really responsive to all my queries and gave clear instructions on what to bring and how to get to the place. She also gave the number of their caretaker in advance which made checking-in really easy despite us arriving late. Abby, their caretaker, was also very kind. We really loved her place as it was located right in front on the beach. There were enough beds for the 5 of us and the kitchen was complete with cooking equipment and they even provided drinking water for us. Their internet was really fast too so we were able to squeeze in a bit of work during the day. On our first night though, the units beside us had some rowdy guests and since we were in the middle and their units were big, we were really disturbed by their behavior. Good thing they left the next day so we at least had the quiet time that we needed. Would definitely recommend this place! We had a great time :)

Basic needs were met as promised here! If you want peace and quiet and far from the festivities and ‘crowdiness’ of the hotel, this is the place to be. However, a tip to enjoy your experience better is to book a day tour to the cove hotel via klook so you can have a day where u can use their facilities/water sports. Still, it was a great decision to book this listing since we’d rather cook our own food and separate from the crowd. The internet was superb and the host is open to customer feedback. It seems all previous points of improvement has been addressed so we had, I would say, better experience. Also it seems the host is also an Ikea fan!! Loved the pcs of furniture and kitchenware. Also a plus is if u are too tired to cook food, there’s foodpanda/Grab. You just need to pickup from the guard’s gate. Again, thank you for the hospitality! Overall a bang-for-the-buck.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay here at The Cove. Pros: Ample parking in a safe space near the building. Complete kitchen amenities. Beach is just across the unit. Great view. Size of the unit was just perfect for our fam. The beach was heaven!!!! Cons: Bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned. Bidet was defective and flooded the bathroom floor. Bathroom was cramped with huge Orocan containers. Overall it was a great experience. We will go back.

Pros: Joanna is very responsive and accommodating with our questions. The unit itself is modern, in good condition and have most if not all that you need. The unit actually has wifi and Netflix and I think description here should be updated to mention these (we had to bring a laptop and HDMI cable because the description here says only ethernet connection is available). The kitchen is well equipped and we appreciate that the owner even provided for drinking water, ice, cooking oil, basic condiments and dishwashing soap. Cons: Sadly, unlike other reviews here, the caretaker wasn’t as responsive as we hoped she would be. It was even much quicker to just reach out to Joanna via the airbnb app. Consistent with some of the reviews, there was water interruption during our stay. The stove really took a long time to be ready before we can actually start cooking. The bed was more of a double bed rather than a queen as opposed to the description.

We had an issue with the bathroom due to a previous guest but the host was very accommodating and helped us rectify the issue right away. I appreciated that they were very proactive in finding a solution.
