We really enjoyed our stay and would have given 5 stars, but for two things. The most important part of an Airbnb, for me, is the comfort of the bed. If you don’t get a decent nights sleep, it will affect your trip. So this, I feel, should be priority. The beds were memory foam, which I thought would be good; it was so hard (the less you weigh, the harder it is and vice versa…I’m 132lbs). I got two hours of sleep the 1st night. I went to Walmart and spent $90 on a topper and slept well the rest of the trip. The bedroom with two queens only has space for the beds. Difficult to walk around room, which was frustrating. Now for the pros, which are many. Pictures of patio don’t do it justice; it’s fantastic! The trees, birds, and sound of running water from the creek is wonderful! Every inch of the house was spotless! The decor is very nice. The location is quiet. Neighbors close (hope we didn’t disturb).Generous toiletries; even shampoo, conditioner, qtips, cotton balls, and dental floss!

My husband, my daughter and her dog had a wonderful time at David’s house. It was exactly as pictured and described in the previews. Very cozy and welcoming atmosphere. I felt like I was in a tree house on the deck ! Well stocked and even beyond what most rentals offer! Plenty of toilet paper and garbage bags. A basket of snacks, coffee pods and cooking spices among some of the extras that you normally don’t get. Nice touches in the bathroom including ear swabs, makeup pads, and dental floss. Plenty of nice towels and complimentary body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Bedding was extremely comfortable and sheets and pillows were equally comfortable. Convenient location for day trips to downtown Asheville and the Biltmore, yet quiet and peaceful area when wanting to relax and unwind. We had a dog with us and it was all set up for him too with a water dish and dog waste bags. Very thoughtful! I highly recommend staying at David’s! I would stay there again!!

My family and I travel alot, and have stayed in many short stay properties. With that being said, David's home is an EASY 5 star rating. You cannot find a fault! Everything was spotless, its was easy to get into, location was great, and he was very responsive with the one inquiry I had. The small things in the home were very well thought out. From an Ingles member card (local grocery store), to complimentary snacks, real flowers, QTips, floss picks, and cotton face pads, and even an extra propane tank for the gas firepit on the balcony to name a few. These weren't just leftovers from previous travellers...you can tell it was planned to make your stay as convenient as possible. The mattresses and the bedding were great, and while I know these are subjective, they were of good quality. You can even see David reinvesting his money back into the property with the construction of a deck in the backyard. Perfect location if visiting downtown Asheville. We will be back :-)

Very comfortable, clean, had everything we needed. We had considered staying downtown for walkability, but this place was an easy drive, great value, ample parking, and good spot to hang out.
