A lightbulb in the living room started sparking, caught on fire and fell on my child in the living room as she was sitting and eating her lunch there. I complained to the management - they said sorry it will not happen again and did nothing to check what caused this. I had to go to the local police station to get them to check the other electrical fixtures in the place. The accommodation had broken fixtures and missing amenities. For example, the tap in our bathroom sink was broken, there were open sockets with no bulbs, soap dispensers were missing from 2 of the 3 bathrooms. We complained about it - the management took no interest in fixing it. They charged us extra for a 'fully equipped kitchen'. This 'full equipment' for 7 people included 4 bowls and 4 plates, 3 - 4 spoons and forks, an induction cooktop, and a fridge. I have stayed in dozens of air bnb accommodations before and this was without doubt the worst.
