The indoor spaces are simply yet thoughtfully designed to resemble a peaceful abode. It features private gardens that offer big seasonal harvests of plums and peaches; you will enjoy plucking them off the tree and eating them ripe! At this villa, you will be in the company of the open bookshelves that promise an array of reads and 360-degree gorgeous panoramas of the hills. This quaint mountainside retreat resembles a serene private oasis, tucked away amidst enviable foliage. The Space: BEDROOMS - This spacious holiday home features 3 bedrooms - 1 on the ground floor and 2 on the first floor. - All bedrooms offer a myriad of amenities including a heater, king-sized bed, wardrobe, and Wi-Fi, and overlook the valley and mountains. - Both bedrooms on the first floor offer a sofa-bed, bay-window seating area and an attached common balcony. - The room on the ground floor is equipped with an ensuite bathroom, whilst the rooms on the first floor have a private bathroom each, however, one of them is not attached to the room. BATHROOMS - There are 2 ensuite bathrooms and 1 common bathroom. - All bathrooms have geysers, towels and basic toiletries. COMMON AREAS - Snug nooks, cosy spaces and enviable landscapes of the rising hills and plunging valleys are the norms in the quaint mountainside chalet. - The holiday home features a cosy living room on the ground floor, eloquently furnished with sofa-style seating arrangements for up to 9 people. - It is equipped with a myriad of amenities including a carvaan, Wi-Fi and a heater and indoor game like chess. - The dining area is a component of the living room, and can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. - There is a beautiful 2500 sq. ft. manicured lawn. - It boasts a ripe seasonal harvest of plums and peaches during the months of June and July. - It offers quintessential outdoor seating arrangements for up to 8 people. KITCHEN - Guests may use the kitchen to prepare light meals such as tea, coffee, and Maggi at an additional charge of Rs. 1500 per night. - It is equipped with a microwave, gas stove, oven, refrigerator, water purifier, toaster and a mixer-grinder. - Crockery and cutlery are also available. - Cooking and consumption of non-vegetarian food is allowed. FOOD - Breakfast can be provided in-house at an additional cost. - An in-house chef can be arranged to cook lunch and dinner for an additional charge of Rs. 2000 per day. Groceries will be charged as per actuals.
The cottage was nice with nice view of hills, But the approach road to cottage was very narrow and steep, from main road one would need to go straight up..then take a U turn from a dead end on the slope, where a vehicle was already parked (not removed as it was the land owner’s), then after U turn take a diagonal cut down the slope to reach the cottage. Next day, Our vehicle got stuck while we were going down and got tilted for an hour..the care takers are aware of it..a recovery van had to be called , we had to hold the vehicle with the help of ropes tied to tree and finally after a lot of effort, the vehicle became straight and we could go down. Secondly, the kitchen smelled a lot. Thirdly, the lock of one of the rooms was broken from inside and the caretaker told us that they will lock the house from outside from the kitchen exit and we shouldn’t lock it from inside. I was like why, it’s not safe. He said no, we need provision to enter the house whenever required.
Liked the villa and the Surroundings and the food , If you one can add music system or something would be great .
This property is on a very peaceful location. Spent a very good time with family. I found this property very clean. And exactly the same as shown in the pics. And also the chef and his assistant, I’ll give 10 out of 5 to those guys. Their cooking skill was truly awesome. Definitely will go again there. Thanks Hollyhock for this unforgettable experience.
