Peter, Illumine and family are amazing hosts. They were incredibly welcoming and super helpful with with everything we needed during our two weeks there. Peter maintains a beautiful garden. So beautiful in fact that we spent a big portion of our stay right there instead of going into town for our work related meetings. The house is enormous. For food the housekeeper Winnie would cook us tasty meals. Ask her to make you Ubugali with Isombe and Mizuzou, if you want to be in for a Rwandan treat! She also makes a banger Peanut sauce! We all loved Winnie! The place is a bit outside of the city center. Though, you'll always find a moto taxi right in front of the gate to get you where you need to go quickly. There's also three playful dogs - Lu (who is three treats away from learning 'to sit'), Prince and crazy eyes Stella. They'll want to play with you and hang out but will leave if you don't want to. All in all a great place to have a relaxed time in Kigali. Will come again!!!

Peter is a super host! Check in instructions and directions were clear from the start. Peter was so kind to show us around Kigali by night, drove us to a local store, and give loval recommendations on where to eat and visit, all for free. His beautiful wife Illuminee is a super host too. She helped us finding a lovely house chef, and shared some of her he home goods with us. Both Peter and Illumunee are very kind people. The house is in the suburb of Kigali, has a beautiful garden with animals and plants. The house is quiete old, 2 bedrooms are upstairs with an old small wooden staircase which you have to be careful with when going up and down. The house is very spacious, internet works very well. There are lots of mosquitoes in the rainy seasons, remember to carry enough mosquitoe repellent. Would help to have a car to move around Kigali from Peter's house. Thanks Peter and IIlumunee for hosting us, it was super lovely and we hope to see you again

Nous venons de passer deux mois dans cette résidence , avec des enfants aux bas âges. Nous avons apprécié chaque seconde passée dans cette maison. Un jardin immense et agréable à visiter, des animaux divers ( lapins, poules, pigeons, chèvre, canards, chiens). Tous ça a fait notre bonheur pendant ce séjour de deux mois. Sans oublier la gentillesse des maîtres des lieux ,jusqu’aux gardiens. Nous nous sommes sentis directement en famille! Peter et son épouse Illuminée ont été présents à chaque fois que nous avons demandé conseils ( lieux à visiter, conseils sur diverses choses à Kigali). Nous avons fait connaissance avec leurs enfants qui étaient en vacances et ils ont été d’une gentillesse incroyable, ils jouaient volontiers avec nos petits tous ça dans un bon cadre familial. Pour moi c est le meilleur endroit et j y retournerais sans hésiter! Donatille-Nathan et Jules

Très bon accueil et maison de qualitè, un beau jardin et la proximité immédiate avec une piscine et des jeux pour enfants à deux pas. Nous recommandons.

Wonderful place. We have kids and the garden with all the animals was a hit! The pool at tequila paradise is right next door. It was a bit difficult to find when we got here so get a local contact number from host to call with your driver.
