Loved our week at Villa Serene! Sheryl was very responsive, promptly helping us solve an air conditioning issue, and getting us a ride to YS Falls. Looking forward to another stay.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Serene this week. Our family of 5 fit more than comfortably in the beautiful house. The view of the ocean was breathtaking and the pool was amazing; we spent most of our days lounging in the pool area and walking on the beach. Shamoir, the Chef, was phenomenal. If you stay here- you need to book him! We did a few day excursions but mostly stuck close to home. YS falls and the Pelican Bar are must-sees! Sheryl was responsive to our texts and was very helpful as we had a delayed flight and needed to arrive later than we had anticipated. We really appreciated her flexibility. We arrived after a storm so the ocean water was not as clear as it usually is. However, we walked about a mile down the beach and found lovely clear water to enjoy. We also had a boat ride from one of the neighbors- he took us to a place to snorkel. Just a note- the water pressure wasn't very strong upstairs so we chose to shower downstairs. Overall a terrific and memorable trip!

The pros of the house is that you have a private chef, private pool and direct access to the beach. The chef came in with his key and had breakfast and dinner prepared at the times we set and the meals were good. Cons-The home is 2 hours and 45 minutes from the airport, which we were told it was an hour a half. The neighborhood isn't the cleanest. Goats, dogs and cats will be in the backyard of the home. There is only air conditioning in the bedrooms. The home is extremely hot in all other areas. If you book during their peak summer, you will not be able to handle the heat. They only have 2 fans for the entire home. The a/c is set for energy saving and cuts off randomly (makes it extremely uncomfortable). There are no beach chairs or umbrellas for the beach, so we couldn't really enjoy the beach like we thought we would. There is only one tv for the entire house and it didn't work during our stay. The internet is pretty good in the home. In the future, I wouldn't re-book the home.

Sheryl was very welcoming and responsive. I appreciated her calling ahead of check in to let us know key details to aid in our check in process and to communicate some issues. E.G., we stayed during Jamaica's rainy season which means mosquitoes. She gave us a heads up about that and recommended we bring bug repellant. The villa also has mesh on all windows to keep them out. She also informed us the the electronic gate had malfunctioned but that we would be assisted by one of her staff members who was just a phone call away. The villa lived up to it's name. The pool was good and the back yard was literally the beach. The Villa is equipped with a generator and water tanks which came in handy. We also hired the Chef she recommended & the food was good. Overall, Villa Serene is quiet and private; perfect for guests who literally just NEED rest after a hectic work life. Pelican Bar is basically next door. YS falls is 30 and I totally recommend visiting.

The chef was incredible. The place was great just wish it had tv in the bedroom and the jacuzzi worked outside. Besides that it’s an amazing place with a great pool and private beach.
