I will begin with the positives. The host was responsive to emails, basically immediately. The location of the apartment was ideal, bus stops really close, restaurants and shopping area within walking distance. The photos of the apartment were as shown. Negatives: The apartment on the surface looked clean but it wasn't. There was a terrible idle coming from the bathroom and tiles were mouldy. I thought maybe the smell was because of the dirty tiles so I sprayed it with a bleach cleaner. The mould didn't come out, and the smell persisted. The kitchen: the fridge was dirty. There was a bag of rotten vegetables in the cupboard. When we threw it out there were lots of small flies that we had to deal with for the rest of our stay. I think maybe the host needs to check up on whoever is responsible for cleaning after guests leave. On our second night I think the boiler stopped working. So no hot water or heating in March and the place was freezing. Had to leave early also due to plumbing.

The location of the listing is perfect for easy access to transport, restaurants and shopping center. India was very responsive and sorted all the concerns we had. However, the double bed was not firm enough but that’s a personal preference. The towels were just manageable, could use an upgrade. Despite the few cons, I would book the place again.
