Chonak Home is in peaceful Ashwem village. The last house on the road, sandwiched between lush green hills to the east and the mighty Arabian sea to the west, you’ll be spoiled for choice between chasing sunsets at the beach, walks to viewpoints in the surrounding hills, or even a natural fish-spa at the Mandrem quarries, just a 5 minute walk from home!
The village itself is the perfect setting for a getaway from the city, simultaneously a quaint Goan fishing village and a global melting pot. Where else can you ride past 200 year old banyan trees, enjoy a 150 rupee rustic home cooked fish thali, hop over to a supermarket that sells Italian and French cheese and enjoy restaurants with authentic cuisines from around the world, made by chefs from around the world? (Russian, French, Italian, Japanese and more – don’t worry we’ll share a list of awesome things to eat, drink and do around Ashwem)
