There are a total of 10 bedrooms, lush gardens and 2 pools. All guests are served three authentic, family-style meals a day included in the nightly rate. Where do i begin ?!?!? We had the most magical of times at The Mahalani. We stayed for a week along with family and friends as we had our Wedding ceremony here. Prior to our arrival Mary was always on hand and was a godsend with valuable advice when organising our ceremony. It was the most special of days and we now have the most beautiful memories that we will treasure for our lifetime ❤️👰♀️🤵❤️. Upon our arrival Kadekie and the team looked after us and catered for our every whim. Kadekie was always checking in with us, even after she had gone home, Kadekie was always available ❤️. We were all totally spoilt and treated like family. Everyone who looked after us were a credit to The Mahalan ❤️. The location was perfect on the beachfront. We would spend our evenings chilling by the pool listening to DJ Gekko 🤣🤘🤣. The most memorable of weeks and we will 100% be returning !! First of all, we want to say massive thanks to Mary, she helped us to organise our wedding stress free and made us feel like we are in safe hands and taken care of. The place itself is magical. It exceeded our expectations right from the start. It felt like home straight away, staff was treating us as a family members, they all were so helpful and kind… fresh homemade food was served every day and was so yummy. Special thanks for Kadekie - she helped us with any request, and nothing was impossible. She is just amazing person ❤️ We really hope we will come back there someday ❤️

Une villa tout simplement magnifique avec une vue incroyable. Que dire de l'équipe de Kadekie sur place: une équipe dévouée, souriante, accueillante qui a été à nos petits soins: transferts de l'aeroport, transfert a Padang Bai, massages, dauphins... La villa était tout a fait adaptée à notre famille de 23 personnes avec un grand plus: tous les repas était compris. Tout a été parfait, et c'est une évidence que nous y retournerons dès que possible Merci encore a eux de nous avoir permis de passer un si beau séjour et Merci à Mary de nous avoir accueilli chez vous !!

The Mahalani is located on the north shore of Bali in a little village called Bondalem. Bondalem is the perfect place to experience the authentic Balinese way of life. No endless rows of tourist shops. No night clubs. Just blue water, incredible views, culture, and nature. The Mahalani is where you come to get away from it all. Laid-Back Luxury.
The villas rest on a natural volcanic black sand and pebble beach where local fishermen bring in their day's catch. You can hire a traditional Balinese fishing boat to head out to sea to enjoy the awe-inspiring sunrise and look for dolphins. The coral reef is directly offshore from our famous beach gate and the shallow and calm sea make this an ideal area for snorkeling. (We have snorkeling gear to borrow as needed).
An elevated seafront promenade offers leisurely walks along the shore. When the promenade ends, walk down to the beach and keep going. The local villagers are extremely friendly, smiling and greeting you on the road. You can walk around the village and experience its many temples, morning food market, and roadside restaurants. If you want, you may don authentic Balinese clothing (from our clothing library) and participate in one of the many Balinese ceremonies that take place right outside the villa.
Venture out a bit further and discover the waterfalls or sign up for SCUBA diving. We are happy to help arrange your custom day trip to explore the "Islands of the Gods."
The Mahalani is on the North Shore of Bali, about a 4 hour drive from the DPS Airport. Our staff can arrange transport from the airport and for any of your excursions during your stay.
