A beautiful place to stay. Very peaceful and pleasant location. The accomodation was exceptional with the host making you feel really welcome. The attention to detail and little extras you wouldn't expect made all the difference. Its a pity that we can only give it 5 stars. We will certainly be coming back. Thank.you for a great break.
What a gorgeous, comfortable and very peaceful place to stay. We loved it as soon as we walked in. The barn is much bigger than the photos suggest and it felt very spacious and light. It was sparkling clean - everything was immaculate. And there were so many lovely/thoughtful touches such as fresh flowers, fresh baked bread & cookies, wine, milk & local jam! The brand new kitchen was gorgeous and very well equipped - a really nice space to cook in. We self checked in but met Andrew & Janine later and they were so friendly & welcoming - lovely people. The nicest part of the stay was opening the top of the kitchen barn door every morning looking out onto the gorgeous and beautifully designed and very private courtyard garden and listening to the many birds and the brook running down the side of the garden. So peaceful and a really lovely way to start the day. A lovely Airbnb run by the perfect hosts. We will definitely be back!
We have not stayed in an Air BnB before but for what we were looking for I don’t think you can get better than this. This modern barn in an idyllic, peaceful location in North Dorset was superb. The interior design and attention to detail by the hosts was really impressive. From a tray of complimentary local produce to suggestions of local places to visit and eat. The barn itself was spacious for 4 people and tastefully decorated. The kitchen had everything you needed with utensils should you wish to cook at home. There are lots of beautiful walks right on the doorstep and places to visit like Corfe Castle and Durdle Door are only a 40 minute drive away. Andrew, the host, was really responsive to messages and very accommodating to our needs. We shall certainly return and would like to try the cottage in the nearby village. We can highly recommend Willow Brook Barn
The barn is a beautiful stay. It was perfect for Christmas and had a lovely festive feel. When we walked in, we were greeted with a welcome of local goods; Fresh eggs, bread, jam, milk and biscuits. It was a lovely touch and made us feel very special. Andrew is a great communicator and he answered all my questions, providing insightful information about the local area. I will definitely be back. Thank you so much Eryn
Just returned from our fantastic family holiday in Dorset, where we stayed at Willow Brook barn. What an amazing find. Andrew greeted us at the property, and immediately made us feel really welcome. The barn is finished to a very high standard, and equipped above and beyond what anyone could need.. Including Krups coffee machine, dishwasher, walk-in shower, beautiful oversized bath. The personal touches were exemplorary, including fresh flowers in all rooms, home made bread, local fresh milk ,butter, and other goodies that we won't spoil for your surprise. The rural location was beautiful. The back elevated garden was amazing. So peaceful. Had breakfast and night time drinks everyday out there. Not having stayed in Dorset before, we made the most of our 3 night stay, we visited Bournemouth, Weymouth, Portland , Chesil , Corfe castle, Kimmeridge , Dorchester, Cerne Abbas, to name just a few. We can wholeheartedly recommend Andrew and Janine's barn, and Look forward to returning.
