First time staying at an Airbnb thought it might be a hassle with checking in and nothing about are stay was a hassle. Dave’s craftsman’s home was perfect for the four of us. Walked in to a very clean home and beautiful bedroom furniture. What you see in the pictures is what you walk into. We will definitely make this are home away from home when we come visit family in Virginia.
Excellent, timely communication. Everything within a ten-minute drive but a quiet, peaceful neighborhood with friendly people.
We loved this house and neighborhood! It was a touch of life in the 1930's/40's. Very nostalgic and fun. It was clean and comfortable. The front porch is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the neighborhood and the old Ginkgo tree with it's interesting leaves. The back screened porch is quite small but a great place to enjoy nature. David and Brianna were responsive and accommodating. We would most definitely stay again. BTW, the upstairs beds are very high, so if you are at all short on agility, bring or arrange for a step stool!
This place was fantastic! The neighborhood was great, and we were able to walk with our children every evening. The house is very comfortable and clean, and we felt right at home. I highly recommend staying here!

Wendy, my wife and I, moved to Lynchburg in 2011 to raise our 4 amazing children. We were anticipating staying just a few years, but quickly fell in love with the beauty of the area, the mountains, a solid and balanced 4 seasons, proximity to the Mountains and the Coast, History abounds surrounded by the Civil War battlegrounds and a community that is so welcoming, it's hard not to smile while driving here. That is a shock to the system coming from New England! Southern Charm, Northern Sensibility, and a gorgeous Mid-South Town to provide all our needs. We look forward to hosting you at one of our locations. Blessings, Dave and Wendy
