Fantastic home, wonderful decor & very comfortable. Handy having the park opposite as we stayed with our dog. Jodie was very helpful & quick to respond . I’d definitely stay again at this property or one of their other places.
Once at the forefront of the industrial revolution thanks to its natural abundance of iron ore and coal, today Merthyr Tydfil is a town that embraces its deeply rooted industrial heritage while striving for a diverse and sustainable future. It offers a blend of historical landmarks, cultural attractions, and outdoor activities, making it an intriguing destination for those interested in exploring Wales' industrial past.
Two major South Wales attractions are accessible in less than a 20-minute drive from the accommodation, Bike Park Wales, popular almost all year round with keen cyclists, and Zip World Tower – featuring Phoenix, the world’s fastest seated zip-line.
Arrival by car is recommended, however Merthyr train station is a short 10-minute (uphill) walk if arriving by train. Taxi’s can be booked for around £10 from either the train or bus station in the town centre.
