Oz Station is a pedestrian only village and has a wide variety of activities for skiers as well as non skiers.
For skiers you have access to a vast ski area with the longest black run in Europe and the famous Tunnel run for those who like the challenge of steep and deep. With the local airport on the pistes, there is access to even more ski zones via heli skiing. The options and variety can suit ever level of ability and every choice.
For non-skiers, you can access most areas on the mountain with a pedestrian ski pass to meet your friends and family for lunch. There is snow shoeing, tobogganing, stunning walks, swimming, husky rides, paragliding, ice skating.
Further afield, there is access to Viaferrata close to Vernosc, weather permitting. Kayaking and paddle boarding in Bourg en Oisan, again, weather permitting.
There are local shops in the village including a supermarket, bakeries, charcuteries, ski hire stores, bars, takeaways and restaurants.
There is a local doctor and pharmacy in Allemont and a dentist in Bourg en Oisans should you need.

If you don’t have access to your own transport there is an efficient local bus service, taxis and vast ski lift system for access to the wider area.
The village centre itself is closed to traffic making it very safe for children.
With the snow, it’s possible to ski back to the front door but this can’t always be guaranteed.
To get to the chalet, we’d recommend flying to Grenoble or Lyon as the closest airports. You can catch the train to Grenoble too. Taxis, car hire and ski buses are available to get you to the chalet. Once in resort, you really don’t need transport.
