I had a nice stay, there was a slight language barrier but that’s okay, the apartment was very nice and in a relatively peaceful area but you will always hear cars very easily as well as it sounding like the window is open when it’s closed. You do only get a set amount of towels and no washcloths but there is a washer and dryer. Lastly when it rains hard the ceiling leaks so beware of that, other than that I enjoyed my stay.

Place was just like the pictures. Very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Only bad thing was when you shower you have to face the shower head towards the wall or the bathroom gets flooded, would recommend a shower rug.

There is a glaring safety issue with this listing. The guests have to enter/exit the apartment using a back gate which is controlled by a garage opener. If the electric gate malfunctions or in the event of a mechanical failure, there is no alternate entry or exit options. We got locked out at around 1 am when we returned from Culebra in the last ferry. The next day we got locked in and couldn’t exit. We had to message the host and he then instructed to manually pull the gate to open which took about 30 minutes. In the event of a fire or a medical emergency, it would have been catastrophic. On top of that the ceiling was leaking in the living room area. The living room area was unusable for last 2 days of our reservation. I have been using Airbnb for 7+ years, this was by far the most terrible experience. I would absolutely not recommend it to anybody.
