An Airbnb should be more than just a place to lay your head at night. It should also be a friendly information centre, with info on local walks, markets, shops and restaurants etc. Remember super-hosts most of your guests will be clueless about their holiday environment and will need all the help they can get, and it’s a mistaken belief to think mobile phones will find everything for you! My wife and I have stayed in many Airbnbs (mostly in France and Italy) and all of them were excellent. Why? Because the hosts made every effort to ensure our stay was a success! This particular Airbnb made little effort, in fact we never saw them once. I will not drone on about the faults of the house itself, although there were plenty, but I just think the hosts need to get out more and learn how it’s done properly. Don’t let this review put you off staying there. It’s a small, quiet, and comfortable house, despite all its peculiarities. Allan Foster.

Nice but basic house hidden behind another house. Good location for shops and Versailles. David was very helpful.
