My friend and I spent a night here but wished we had stayed more. The house is charming and full of character. The view from the house is stunning. Rachel was an amazing host - super responsive and helpful.

Definitely worth the visit! I was looking for a little london getaway and somewhere that was quiet, spacious, and surrounded with nature. This beautiful, Georgian house ticked all those boxes. Rachel and her family were very welcoming, kind and good company.

Rachel and Her husband were very welcoming. We felt privileged to be allowed to stay in their lovely house that was steeped in history. It was a fabulous location, but due to our short stay we were unable to fully take in the outstanding location and immerse ourselves in the experience. A great thank you from me, Helen and our teenage granddaughter.

If you want to step back in time and enjoy your time in Bath staying at a family home that is over 400 years old then this is the place for you. Our hosts were so accommodating. The home is filled with nostalgia, providing very beautiful and interesting things to lookout at. The grounds and Chateau gardens are a wonderful place for an afternoon walk. A must during your stay is Edward's world famous hot water bottles. This hospitable gesture alone deserves 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. I highly recommend this home. If I can find one thing I want guests to be aware of during your stay is...you are far from Bath City Center, Uber and Bolt is very pricy recommend using a local taxi to get to and from the Mansion. Other than that everything was perfect! Just what we needed and it was so hard to leave, especially with the accommodating LATE check out option 🤗😊🇬🇧. Cheers to Edward & Rachel. Rachel and Edward were very generous hosts. I had amazing conversations about mythology, philosophy and politics and must say, they were all deeply engrossing. Loved my stay with them and deeply touched by their warmth !!
