Rosie's Hideaway By The Sea is in a lovely turn of the century Victorian farm house filled with paintings by Msine artists and beautiful hardwood floors. The front yard has gorgeous shade trees and a stone wall. Fabulous views of the harbor is a short walk away. . Follow the road along the harbor and you'll end up downtown Boothbay Harbor where all the shops and restaurants are. While we love children and animals, the space is not appropriate / safe for children under 8 or pets of any kind. Even though the house is over 100 years old, you'll still have all the modern amenities - electric lights, running water, indoor plumbing and of course WiFi! Two large bedrooms with comfy beds (one queen, one double), a small TV parlor, bright new kitchen and a pretty purple bathroom are all yours to enjoy. The kitchen has all the tools you need to cook a hearty breakfast, prepare a picnic lunch or cook a simple dinner. There is a medium-small fridge, Kurig-style coffee maker, electric tea kettle, toaster, and a two burner cook top. You will want to bring your streaming channel passwords so you can enjoy your favorite shows on the Roku / TV. We do have board games and puzzles for some old fashioned fun. Rosie's Hideaway By The Sea is named for the middle-aged cat who lives downstairs and loves her hideaway spots. You probably won't see her as she isn't allowed in the upstairs apartment but if you do the first thing you will notice is her beautiful green eyes. Your accommodation is located on the second floor so be aware there is a full set of stairs to climb and we highly recommend using the beautiful old sturdy banister coming down.
