This flat right on the canal was exactly what we needed. Close to the metro and the tram making everything easy to access and an easy walk to the museums. The flat is well equipped and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved everything about Jess and Barry’s place. The most striking feature is how thoughtfully and artfully designed it is: serene color palette, very comfortable furniture, large plants, beautiful prints, and stunning paned windows that let the outside in: the tops of the canal houses across the way, tree tops, endless sky. It is spacious and well laid out- the perfect size for a family. The shower quality is also notable: great temperature and water pressure. The kitchen had everything we needed and was well organized. Dishwasher and washer/dryer were a big plus! And the large tv with endless streaming options made the end of the days very easy with kids. The location is amazing: a short walk to trams and metro, and walkable to everything (including grocery stores, cafes, restaurants). But it doesn’t feel touristy; just active. It was quiet and peaceful. Jess and Barry are terrific hosts. Extremely accommodating and friendly. Terrific communication. Made us feel right at home!

The host was very responsive and answered all my questions very clearly. Check in/out was very smooth and easy to navigate. The location is perfect and only two minutes away from public transport. It’s also a short and pleasant walk to Leidseplein and RembrandtpleinIf. If you have stayed in Amsterdam before you will know how nice it is to have a lift. Everything you would need from grocery stores, bike rentals, restaurants, etc. are all close by and do not require the use of public transportation. Having been to Amsterdam over 40x and staying in everything from youth hostels to fancy hotels I’d say this is a top accommodation for me. We would love to be able to stay here on future trips.
