Great location and felt super safe with security. Home was spacious and had everything we needed. Carlos was excellent in getting back to us if we needed anything.

After an entire week in the discomforts of camping in the Uvita jungles, it was such a relieving treat to be back in the city in an apartment w/ optional air conditioning, an actual bathroom w/ shower & toilet access, a working laundry & a refrigerator to cool our drinks on. We may have gotten excited seeing that the refrigerator in the apartment had a filtered water button, since our ‘1st world’ tummies😆was having such a hard time w/ the tap water in Costa Rica. Even using the tap water for brushing our teeth made us vomit/have diarrhea, so we were sad when we realized that the filtered water button in the refrigerator did not work😢 We reached out to Carlos about it & he told us the water filter was not set up. We ended up just buying a big container of filtered water from Alajuela Walmart 20mins drive away. We felt safe because the condominium was in a gated complex with 24/7 security. Home103 was everything I needed to enjoy my 2 month stay in Costa Rica. Easy access to the airport by Uber, walkable into Alajuela during the day light; bus stations are an easy walk and give you access to just about the whole country. Carlos was responsive within an hour anytime I had a need or question. The condo is comfortable. More kitchen items (toaster, blender, pans, wine glasses) would be nice for a long stay like mine, but what was provided was sufficient for a shorter stay. Only one towel, wash cloth and blanket was provided. Would suggest that more be offered (another was provided once I requested it). I'm not a big A/C person, so just having the one unit in the master bedroom was enough for me. Carlos provided, upon request, a fan to help with the rest of the unit. The grounds were kept immaculately clean, with NO bug issues during the entire stay. I would consider staying here again. Thank you Carlos!!!
