Place was mesmerizing, definitely worth it for the price. Attention to details was next level, 3 of us had never stayed at a cottage in wild before this and it was one of their best experience. Thanks to Mel for being a great host and thank you for hosting such a beautiful place. Will definitely be back in summer.
Loved loved loved this little piece of heaven. Comfortable and cozy had fun kyacking and a nice camp fire. Will visit again.
We had an awesome stay at Mel's cabin. Everything was exactly as advertised and Mel was a fantastic host. We hope to be back again soon!
The place is very cute and the bedrooms were comfortable. We arrived late in a snowstorm but the place was nice and toasty. There’s lots of character and the property is gorgeous, right on the lake. It would be great in the summer. The only thing I would note is the lack of any sound proofing. There’s no drywall between floors and my daughters who slept upstairs could hear me snore. You could hear someone on the phone pretty much anywhere in the house. The common areas are also tight. Great if the weather cooperates so you can be outdoors but more than a few days indoors and you’ll definitely get cabin fever.
My kids and I had a great time at Mel's cabin! It was so comfortable and cozy with every comfort thought out - from blankets in every corner and the most aesthetic lighting, to the perfect vinyl selection and great selection of games. Everything was spotless and the beds were really comfortable. Mel was extremely responsive, with clear communication and instructions. My kids were so sad to leave the cabin, and would love to return!
