This is lovely little cottage peacefully located on a beautiful lake an easy drive from the French Shore with its Acadian history and culture and beaches. The cottage has a lovely open layout with wonderful views of the lake and from the master bedroom and living area. The spacious grounds would make it perfect get-away for a family with children. The hosts were very responsive to our questions and checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed.

We had a fabulous time at the refuge!The property was magical and more beautiful than we expected. I was in awe with the gorgeous kitchen and living room and with the tall ceilings. The pantry next to the kitchen was beautiful and it was a nice area to put away food. I would wake up early each morning just to look at the amazing view from the bedroom. We had an awesome time with the kayaks and our personal watercraft. It’’s hard to imagine that this place can be even nicer in person than pictures, but it is. Karine was an amazing host! Added bonuses for us with this property were the nearby slip to drop our watercraft and the proximity to Sainte Anne University.

The Refuge was as promised!! Beautiful- private - serene.. The house was extremely comfortable..and we had all we needed to cook in. Great night’s sleep! Karine was quickly responsive with a few of the questions I had.. Terrific place!!

We had a beautiful stay at Karine’s place! It was so relaxing, private and the lake is absolutely stunning! I would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for peace and relaxation!
